ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS (REBID – JUNE 2025)
Pursuant to NC G.S. 143-129, sealed Bids for the construction of the Belville Riverwalk Phase 2 project will be received by Town of Belville, at 497 Olde Waterford Way, Suite 200, Belville, NC 28451 until 2:00 PM local time on June 19, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be submitted by mail, FedEx, UPS, courier, or email at townmanager@townofbelville.com.
Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
Development of a walking trail, timber boardwalk, and a riverwalk over the marsh with a gazebo. The project includes earthwork, erosion control, boardwalk construction, and permitting with AHJs.

Questions will be received ONLY in written form. The deadline to submit written questions to WithersRavenel is 8:00 AM local prevailing time on June 9, 2025. A final addendum will be released no later than 5:00 PM on June 11, 2025.

A pre-bid conference will not be held for the rebid. Potential bidders are encouraged to visit the site on their own time to examine the existing conditions.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days consecutive calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed.
