The City of Durham will open sealed formal Bids submitted by qualified Bidders at 2:00 PM on June 12, 2025 for Contract 16208, Project: East Durham Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Replacement Phase 1A at the Department of Water Management Training Room C, 1600 Mist Lake Drive, Durham, North Carolina.

 

The Project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of:

 

East Durham Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Replacement Phase 1A:

The Base Bid consists of the installation of approximately 3,200 linear feet of 8-inch to 16-inch sanitary sewer replacement, replacement and reconnection of existing sanitary sewer services, installation of approximately 2,100 linear feet of 6-inch to 12-inch DIP waterline, replacement of existing domestic and fire services, installation of approximately 260 linear feet of 36-inch to 42- inch stormwater, sanitary sewer / stormwater structures, connections to existing piping, valve assemblies, traffic control, approximately 150 LF of 8-inch CIPP installation, stream enhancements of approximately 550 LF of stream near the Grant Park area and east of Lincoln Street as shown on


sheets SR-1 through SR-8, miscellaneous surface restoration and all associated appurtenances, as described in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings.

 

The Bid Alternate consists of the installation approximately 230 LF of 8” sanitary sewer as shown in Sanitary Sewer Connection Details Number 2 and 3.

 

The foregoing description shall not be construed as a complete description of all work required.

 

Beginning Thursday, April 24, 2025, the Contract Documents may be reviewed online and be obtained from Accent Imaging, 8121 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617, (919) 782-3332, or at www.accentimaging.com. A hard copy of the plans, contract, or electronic files may be obtained at a non-refundable fee of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the hard set plus digital, or one hundred dollars ($100.00) for digital only plus sales tax and delivery. Plans must be purchased through Accent Imaging to be on the bidders list. Bids will only be accepted from companies listed on the bidders list. All updates / notifications regarding the bid, including Addenda, will be distributed to companies on the bidders list.

 

The Contract Documents may be viewed, free of charge, at the City of Durham, Department of Water Management, 1600 Mist Lake Drive, Durham, North Carolina by appointment only.
