CORINTH HOLDERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PUMP STATION & FORCE MAIN

Sealed bids will be received by the Owner, JOHNSTON COUNTY, in the conference room at the LAND USE CENTER, 309 E. MARKET STREET, SMITHFIELD, NC until 2:00 PM, EST, on

Thursday, July 31, 2025, for the construction of the CORINTH HOLDERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PUMP STATION & FORCE MAIN.

The work will be located along Lake Wendell Road and Applewhite Road from the Corinth Holders Elementary School to the Corinth Holders High School and will consist of the construction of approximately;

Base Bid

·         New grinder pump station facilities, site, and access road

·         14,500 LF of 3-inch sewer force main

·         1,100 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer

·         420 LF of 4-inch sewer service lines with connection to existing fire station

·         Several bore and jack installations beneath NCDOT roadway

·         Several horizontal directional drills with 3-inch HDPE beneath streams

·         Abandonment of existing sand filter treatment system and discharge system

·         Associated appurtenances, erosion control, cleanup, testing, traffic control, etc.

Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents are open to public inspection at the office of JOHNSTON COUNTY PUBLIC UTILITIES, LAND USE CENTER, 309 E. MARKET STREET, SMITHFIELD, NC; on-line on our website at www.johnstonnc.com, and through the following plan rooms: ConstructConnect, Hispanic Contractors of the Carolinas (HCAC), and McGraw Hill Construction (dodge.construction.com).

The drawings and specifications will be available on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 and may be reviewed online and copies may be obtained from Accent Imaging at 8121 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617, 919-782-3333, www.accentimaging.com. The Accent Imaging website, planscope.com, will be updated periodically with Addenda, plan holder’s lists and other information relevant to bidding the Project. With request for the Bidding Documents supply the following information: Company name, contact person, street address, and phone and fax numbers for Bidding office; NC contractor’s license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference shall be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in the conference room at the LAND USE CENTER, 309 E. MARKET STREET, SMITHFIELD, NC.
