Invitation to Bid
Sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Phase II Subtitle D Landfill partial closure, Bid Number 103-25C, will be received by Onslow County at the Purchasing Department office located at 234 NW Corridor Boulevard. Jacksonville, North Carolina 28540 until 1:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on August 8, 2025, and in Meeting Room 111 where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The clock in the Purchasing Department room will be used to determine the time of receipt.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for qualified bidders at 10:00 A.M. on July 15, 2025, at the Onslow County Vehicle Maintenance Facility conference room located at 411 Meadowview Road, Jacksonville, North Carolina 28540. The meeting will include an overview of the project, address project specific questions, and a review of bidding procedures. A walkthrough of the partial closure area and applicable areas at the facility will be conducted immediately following the meeting.
Contract Documents consisting of Drawings and a Project Manual may be reviewed online at www.planscope.com. Electronic and hard copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from the same website at the Bidder’s expense.
Questions regarding the intent or scope of work must be delivered in writing to Aaron Weispfenning, P.E., P.M.P., via e-mail at weispfenningam@cdmsmith.com and, to be given consideration, must be received no later than July 25, 2025, at 5:00 P.M.
